The International Public Safety Association is seeking an individual to serve as Chair of our new Multidiscipline Mentoring Committee. This working Committee will be initially charged with establishing processes and guidelines for a new Multidiscipline Mentoring Program that we are seeking to implement this Summer. In addition, the Committee Chair shall be responsible for providing ways in which the International Public Safety Association can provide additional information about the importance of mentoring and leadership (e.g. through articles in the new IPSA Journal or a future webcast for IPSA Members). Ultimately, the Multidiscipline Mentoring Chair and Committee Members will guide the implementation of a professional multidiscipline mentoring program available to all International Public Safety Association Members.
The International Public Safety Association Multidiscipline Mentoring Program is unique in that it will be an opportunity for mentees to easily connect with others that have specific areas of expertise, such as Emergency Management, TCCC, TEMS, SWAT, Patrol, NIMS, Finance/Budgeting, Strategic Planning, etc
Our Multidiscipline Mentoring Program will be user-friendly and easily allow potential mentees to review the professional backgrounds of each mentor and reach out to them directly through our website.
