The Rescue Task Force concept is being widely adopted by public safety agencies across the country as an approach to get to victims of violent incidents, like active shooter, in an effort to save lives. In order to effectively apply the RTF concept, public safety agencies must use exercises as a method to learn and refine their capabilities.
