IPSA Webinar
Don't end up as a bad headline: Emotional Intelligence tips and strategies for first responders

When first responders react rather than respond, they can end up on the weekly news or go viral on YouTube clips showing their less than professional behavior. This webinar will provide an overview of what Emotional Intelligence (EI) is and how first responders can help increase their emotional quotient (EQ).

Attendees will learn how the human brain is hardwired to give emotions the upper hand. Participants will learn why de-escalation is not possible unless they understand how to de-escalate and control their emotions.

This webinar will educate first responders how self-awareness and social awareness can help realize EI. Attendees will walk away from this webinar with new skills and tools for ways to to identify and understand emotions, how to become more self-aware, how to better de-escalate and control emotions and manage relationships.
