ABOUT THIS EVENT

The 2023 International Public Safety Association Annual Conference will bring together public safety officials - law enforcement, fire, EMS, telecommunications, emergency management and allied emergency responders from around the United States and internationally.

It is designed to be an amazing networking and learning opportunity for everyone that attends.

Attendees will walk away with several educational resources, tips and strategies that they can apply in their agency.

This will be an in-person event only. 

The focus of the event will be on integrated response, interoperability and unified/incident command.

Event format

This event will include a combination of lectures, breakout sessions and facilitated table-top discussions. The topics discussed will include active shooter, hostile events, mass casualty incidents, civil unrest among other relevant topics to public safety.

Who should attend

We encourage 911 personnel, law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, tactical paramedics, emergency management personnel, public safety civilian personnel, healthcare professionals and allied emergency responders to attend this two-day multidiscipline, collaborative event.

Pricing

We are purposefully keeping the cost of this event low. We will provide coffee and bagels each morning and lunch will also be provided. IPSA Members must login to our website first to access the discounted pricing.

Attendee registration is first come, first serve. Our capacity is 300. We highly recommend early registration to save your seat. 

  • Early Bird: 1 August - 31 December = $150 USD
  • Regular: 1 January - 31 March = $250 USD
  • Late: 1 April - 30 April = $350 USD

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

We are seeking presenters from U.S. and international law enforcement, fire service, EMS, Emergency Management, 911 telecommunications, emergency room/hospital personnel, as well as federal, state, local and tribal government. Presentations from the private sector will be considered with priority consideration from our event sponsors.

If you are interested in presenting at our event, please submit your presentation concept for consideration. This event will include a combination of lectures, breakout sessions and facilitated table-top discussions. The topics discussed will include active shooter, hostile events, mass casualty incidents, civil unrest among other relevant topics to public safety.

The call for presentations is open through November 30, 2022.

The IPSA will waive the registration fee for all selected presenters. Travel and lodging will be the responsibility of the presenter.

TRAVEL & LODGING

For out-of-town travelers, we recommend flying into PHX. It's roughly 15 miles from PHX to Mesa. 

The Phoenix metropolitan area has several hotels you can choose from. While we do not have a room block, the hotel we recommend staying is below (and approximately 12 miles to the facility).
